Young Leaders Call for Men City Wide to Engage in Safety and Community Initiatives. Today at City Hall, Councilman Brandon M. Scott (2nd), Councilman Nick Mosby (7th), and community activist Munir Bahar, will collectively address Baltimore City Men calling for them to become engaged in their neighborhoods to combat crime and other community issues. The address will highlight several avenues for participation · Public Safety · Education/Youth · Community Organizations With a rise in violent crime this summer, Baltimore City leaders and several community activists have been engaged in community based initiatives to fight against violent crime. Councilman Nick Mosby initiated the "Enough is Enough" peace and prayer walks in West Baltimore, while Councilman Brandon Scott and Munir Bahar have been at the helm of the 300 Men March movement spreading anti-violence messages throughout the neighborhoods in East Baltimore. On the night of Friday August 9th, the two groups will meet up for a combined demonstration in West Baltimore, led by Councilman Mosby.
