As youth start heading back to school, it’s important to remember that students with diabetes face unique challenges when it comes to managing their diabetes—and their families, teachers, and health care teams need to be prepared to help. Use the National Diabetes Education Program’s Helping the Student with Diabetes Succeed: A Guide for School Personnel to help ensure a safe learning environment for students with diabetes.
